WHY SHOULD WE CARE FOR NATURE WRITING ?

As a species I feel we're losing grips with the natural world, our world, the world we and only we have the power to protect. Under times of racial discrimination and the never ending debates on sexuality and gender, that have only heightened after the world saw a lockdown during COVID-19, there is very little hope of finding a place to feel unified.  But I see it in our natural world. Nature is a neutral ground for us, a place that is raw and natural without the acidic licks of social politics to wear it down. So, if the world is beginning to become too much for you, then it's time to pick up some Mary Oliver or Robert Mcfarlane and reconnect with our wild side!
